CANSA Miss Wonderland Campaign
CANSA has taken the initiative to launch a campaign called “Miss Wonderland campaign”. The objective of the campaign is to raise awareness about CANSA and funds for the organization, but more importantly, to raise awareness about cancer in young children and teach them how to live healthy lifestyles.
We invite girls aged 2-14 years to enter our Miss Wonderland competition. Our aim is to build a world without cancer by educating our young children about reducing the cancer risk. We invite all schools and parents to participate. Entries for the Miss Wonderland competition close on the 10 August 2016. Each entrant will receive a pledge form and be given the opportunity to run their own campaign to help raise funds for CANSA Care Centres in KZN. We are hosting our final event with the 25 finalists to announce the winner on 20 August 2016. Each finalist is responsible for their table. Prizes up for grabs – for more info, visit www.cansa.org.za or call 033 342 9837.
Every Saturday we will be visiting Malls around PMB and midlands with our wonderland cast . We have a media sponsor with the fever and will be publishing weekly posts and will be publishing pictures of various schools that participate
We invite the entire family to attend our Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in support of our Wonderland Cuppa for CANSA. We have planned a line up which will be amazing fun for the whole family!
We start off with Extreme Entertainment’s Kim Mather (The Knave of Hearts), onto James Dobson and Bianca Sontoro, from Howick High, dancing and singing Disney’s favorites – both have volunteered their time to Cansa Pietermaritzburg for this event. We end with Irene’s Models summer fashions for the whole family.
We will have spot prizes and competitions during the event, including for best decorated table, best hat and a few delightful games. There are great prizes to be won, such as Rocking Rooster party venue vouchers, Mr. Funtubbles vouchers, Tenpin bowling, Holiday club for 2 from Hedgehog and Daisies Daycare in Hilton and a family day at PheZulu Safari Park.
To end the afternoon we will be announcing the winner of our Miss Wonderland competition – the little girl who raises the most for the CANSA PMB Care Centre. Wonderland party delights will be provided and a cash bar will be available.
